Dominion Energy in Virginia can assume worse case loading of equipment in a building, resulting in you paying for more energy capacity than you need. This can be fixed, so you only pay for what you actually need.

Large commercial customers of Dominion Energy can opt out of the new energy efficiency rider if they are already doing energy efficiency projects themselves.
WATER USAGE STUDY IN COMMERCIAL OFFICE BUILDING
There are often small things that can cost a lot if left unattended. In this study we found that a simple bypass valve in the wrong position in an exterior fountain caused a use of approximately 200,000 gallons per year.
